The first movie in my quarantine watch list is a horror-mystery by Nordic director Lorcan Finnegan. This bizarre yet brilliant film manages to present a number of issues such as the absence of moral culpability in predation in nature, the crisis of being trapped in an existence without meaning and the hollowness of (American) suburbian dream and losing the essence of life, all in a surrealist.. almost kafkaesque way that leaves you unnerved.

The almost perfect set and cinematography and powerful performance by the casts, especially Imogen Poots, make this film a must-watch in this troubled time of social isolation.
